Our funding comes from a range of sources, but in order to survive and to continue providing our current wide range of activities, the Courthouse needs to generate at least 90% of its own finances. We rely on fundraising and donations for additional revenue, and upon the hard work of our team of dedicated volunteers. By becoming a Member or Companion, you are playing a big part in helping to keep the Courthouse thriving.
Individual Membership: £20
Joint Membership (with spouse or partner): £35
This level of membership is ideal if you come to events at the Courthouse regularly. Memberships last 12 months from sign-up date.
In return you will receive:
– price reduced tickets on some events
– advance notice of new events added
– collect rewards equalling 5% of the ticket price – these will be turned into electronic vouchers once you hit £2.50 or more and can then be used at the box office (online or offline), should you wish
– a free drinks token at the start of each renewed year’s membership (equivalent value of up to 1 beer / wine / single shot & mixer)
– a thank you letter
– the bi-annual programme in the post including a ‘this is how we’re doing’ update
– the quarterly volunteers’ newsletter
– invitation to any volunteer socials
Annual donation of minimum £20
We realise that some of you use the membership scheme as a way to support the Courthouse financially, more like an annual donation – because you love what we do, but sadly live too far away to come regularly for example. Your help is very gladly received.
We’ve come up with this level of ‘membership’ as a way for you to continue your support and connection to the Courthouse, but as this level does not attract any financial benefits for you, it means we can claim gift aid on it, more like a donation, which means you are helping us even more without having to spend another penny.
In return you will receive:
- a thank you letter
- the bi-annual programme in the post including a ‘this is how we’re doing’ update
- the quarterly volunteers’ newsletter
