We always have a jam packed range of events, workshops, films and activities to keep the little ones entertained and to stop the boredom kicking in.

Spookily Fun events this October half term

Monday 29th October, 1.30-3pm

Spooky Craft workshop with Indigo Star

Come along to this spooky workshop and make frightening lanterns, ghoulish window decorations and creepy spiders!

Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop

£6 per child – Age 6+

 

Tuesday 30th October, 9am-4pm

TIP or Treat

Do you dare to join Technology in Play for all things STEAM this Halloween.  Prepare for potion making, engineering spider webs and taking a closer look at your insides….  Could it be magic or science?

Wednesday 31st October, 1.30-3pm

Halloween Cats & Pebble Bats – craft workshop

Come and join Emma Smith for her Halloween cat and pebble bat making workshop.  Make your own witches cats using felt, and get spooky with pebbles and paints to create your very own bats.  Use your imagination to make your Halloween creations as scary as you like.

£6 per child – Age 6+

Please note that children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop at all times.

Virtual Reality Workshop

Virtual Reality is the computer technology that immerses the wearer in an imaginary world, whether that’s an action-packed game, a walk through a fantasy landscape or a 3D painting studio.  Steve Manthorp will help participants select the adventure that suits them, using the state of the art VIVE VR headset.  Sessions last approximately 30 minutes.

Free drop in session – Age 7+.  No need to book.

Otley Courthouse is a unique development run by people in Otley, West Yorkshire. After an eight year development period we transformed a redundant nineteenth century magistrates court into a unique arts and resource centre for our community.
