Cirque du Soleil – Worlds Away

91mins, PG – Recorded screening

£10 Adult, £8 Children

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT

If you’ve never had the chance to see Cirque du Soleil live, then this is the event for you.  Come and enjoy this recorded screening of their 2012 performance “Worlds Away”.  A young woman in a small Mid-Western town goes to a travelling carnival one evening, where she is urged by a silent clown to visit the carnival’s circus and see The Aerialist, the show’s star attraction. She is entranced by The Aerialist, but during his act he misses a catch and falls to the ground. She rushes to help him, but then the ground beneath them gives way and they fall through into the dreamlike world of Cirque du Soleil. Separated, they travel through the different tent worlds trying to find each other, interacting with the strange and wonderful performers and performances of Cirque du Soleil.

Please note that children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult at this event.

Fidget Theatre present: Birds Nest Billy

I wish for an adventure!  Billy is a little boy with a big brother called Bo. Billy and Bo both have big hair. Big, curly bird nest hair. They play together: building, racing, dancing pretending. They’re the very best of brothers.

Then one day Bo gets a haircut and starts going to school. Billy plays on his own, but it isn’t the same. Billy misses his big brother all day long. But then out of Billy’s bird nest hair chirps a little bird. The little bird grants Billy three magical wishes…

Bird’s Nest Billy is an imaginative, fantastical adventure story for children aged 3-7 and their families.

Please note that children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
