David Parkin productions presents: The Nose that Nobody Picked

One day, Christopher, a keen but unorthodox gardener, finds a living nose raised by slugs in his garden. In their hunt to find Little Big Nose a face, they encounter Doctor Skinner, an eccentric plastic surgeon, who has connections with nose’s past and sinister intentions for his future.   A surreal, snotty, rip-snorting yarn for all the family, the show created by David Parkin is based on his book which has been shortlisted for the James Reckitt Hull Children’s Book Award 2017.  Featuring original songs, and scenery this is a great afternoon out for all the family.

Fizz, Film & Fish ‘n’ Chips: Paddington 2 (PG)

Following the success of Beauty and the Beast last year we are running our second family friendly film – for film fans of all ages.

Our film this time is Paddington 2 which gathered five star reviews across the board when it was released late in 2017. The film honours its star’s rich legacy with a sweet-natured sequel whose adorable visuals are matched by a story perfectly balanced between heartwarming family fare and purely enjoyable all-ages adventure.

The film screens at 3pm but our drinks reception will begin at 2.30pm.

The event is organised by Otley Courthouse, Otley Film Society, and Otley Action for Older People

Otley Courthouse is a unique development run by people in Otley, West Yorkshire. After an eight year development period we transformed a redundant nineteenth century magistrates court into a unique arts and resource centre for our community.
