Rust For Glory – the UK’s premier Neil Young tribute band – have been faithfully capturing the spirit and sound of Neil Young since 2011. With a dynamic range that spans haunting acoustic ballads to full-throttle electric rockers, Rust For Glory deliver powerful and authentic performances that celebrate every era of Young’s storied career.
In 2023, they were honoured as the special musical guests at a one-off Neil Young Day in London’s Barking Broadway Theatre, performing the entire Harvest album live – exactly where Neil recorded ‘A Man Needs a Maid’ and ‘There’s a World’ with the London Symphony Orchestra in 1971.
Frontman Alex has also kept the Neil Young flame burning online. During the pandemic, he launched solo livestreams on Facebook, which evolved into Streamin’ Out – a weekly YouTube show where he plays an hour-plus of Neil Young classics live on guitar, piano, and banjo every Saturday at 6pm (GMT/BST). Alex runs the YouTube channel, editing all the videos himself. The total views for the channel’s videos currently stands at over 1 million.
Whether live on stage or online, Rust For Glory continue to be a must-see for Neil Young fans, bringing heart, grit, and soul to one of rock’s most enduring legacies. “Simply wonderful…an energy, spirit and style which is rarely seen” – R. Vincent, music blogger
