Children’s Wet Felting Workshop – Part of the Seasons of Culture Programme 2026

Join us for a fun packed day of felting fun! Age 7 – 13
10.30am – 3pm
Looking for a fun, creative activity for your child? Join our Wet Felting Workshop, a hands-on experience where young people can learn the magic of transforming soft, colourful wool into amazing handmade creations!
Throughout the day, the children will be introduced to the basics of felting and will be guided through the processes of layering, agitating the wool, molding and trimming.
Inspiration will come from a range of beautiful plants and flowers carefully collected or photographed beforehand by tutors and local wildlife experts.
The workshop is led by Louise Baker, a qualified teacher and felting expert. Louise teaches felting and art extensively to children and adults in the local area.
Packed lunch required.
Please buy 1 ticket per child attending. Parents/carers do not need to stay.
This project is part of the Seasons of Culture Programme funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Leeds City Council through the Leeds Cultural Investment Programme.
