Music Doors: 7:15 pm Show Starts: 8:00 pm

Advance Price: £15

A Washington State native described as ‘the benchmark for what Americana music should be about in the 21st century’, Sara’s career is most definitely on the up.

An outlaw country headliner whose music reaches far beyond the genre’s borders, Sara Petite has built an award-winning career with songs that owe as much to the rock & roll roadhouse as they do to the honky-tonk.

She’s recorded and gigged with some of the best musicians out there, including Bobby Furgo (Leonard Cohen), Kenny Vaughan (Lucinda Williams, Marty Stuart), Steve Peavey (Don Williams and currently with Dwight Yoakum) and Dave Ro (Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam).

Sara will be visiting Otley with her stellar four-piece band.

Although she’s gained increasing recognition in Americana circles, she is mostly a refreshing, just-a-tad-south-of-Bakersfield country singer.” ~ Country Standard Time
On ‘Bringin’ Down The Neighborhood‘ Sara Petite lays out a series of drunken brawls, dubious legality and raucous – and loud – sounds. Is that a gunshot? Someone call the cops!” ~ Americana UK
Sara Petite is that rare artist who is so original in her sound that she can’t be pinned down to any or two influences. While the music that you hear in this collection sounds familiar, it also sounds distinctive and unique.” ~ Americana Highways
