Blondel Medieval & Renaissance wind band perform music from the 14th–16th centuries on shawms, bagpipes and recorders.
Cover Story explores how medieval melodies travelled across Europe, being copied, adapted and reworked over time, crossing borders and blending sacred and secular traditions.
The programme features dances, chansons and intricate works by Machaut, Dufay, Binchois, Wolkenstein and others, alongside anonymous medieval masters.
